For the Movers

Well I have been a touch lax [ha!] on this blog, but sometimes it's because I'm waiting for work and happen to be shaving, and sometimes it's because I'm packing because my roommate kicked me out. I suspect it's because she secretly wanted my room, the biggest one with a double closet - I'd been waiting to have a room with a closet since 1999! - but I'm waiting for confirmation on that. Unrelatedly, her dog recently got a case of the runs, and all the otehr roommates and I have been waiting often for her to come home and clean. Le sigh.

So I've been absorbing all my belongings into cardboard boxes and trying to find reputable movers in brooklyn who won't break the bank. I waited to hear back from an old aquaintaince who had the number for movers who came highly reccommended and when I got the number I didn't wait to call, and got a confirmation the same day. Now I'm waiting for an appropriate time to call my old and new landlords and finalize everything. My mom always told me you have to wait until after 10:00am to call someone at home. I get it, 9 - 10 is coffee hour.

Trying to buy tickets

Yup. I've been online for an hour and I'm still in the search engine part of trying to buy a fucking ticket to go to San Fransisco. How much longer will it take? I'm trying to be economical, but time is money all around, you know!
